Lunch at Vintage Tea Rooms

Myself and three friends had a tasty lunch with friendly Service, However the website stated ' no need to book except for afternoon tea or large party' but when we arrived we were asked if booked and as we had not we were reluctantly found a table, lucky one was free, and told we would have to wait 15 minutes which was fine for us. Maybe the website should remove that statement.

I love the great service, delicious (vegan) cream teas, the great vibes and the decor too. Most of all, I love the vegan scones! They're the best I've ever had and I keep going back for more. I buy enough to take home for the family too. I like to go to the tea room for business meetings, social catch-ups or I bring my headphones to do focused work. It's just lovely to there and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I planned on taking my mother for a vegetarian afternoon tea. The website specifically said not to book for this. When we arrived I cheerfully said we'd like afternoon tea, the unsmiling host asked if we had booked and seemed unimpressed that I hadn't. I had some enquiries about ingredients (none that would mean I couldn't eat there, just to help with my choices). She told me the ingredients and added in an annoyed tone that I have to give them 24 hrs notice to ask about allergens. I had actuall

Just Grand Vintage Tearoom was my first choice when I wanted to give a friend a great time in Leeds. She lives there and wanted to take her young daughter somewhere for a celebration. I paid, via an easy online link, for them to have a full tea experience and they absolutely loved it! Her daughter was so excited by the experience, the lovely sandwiches, homemade, delicious cakes and of course a proper pot of tea! Pros: - Good food - Good portions Cons: - No confirmation of booking - Struggled to contact the store - Paying to book a table - Bad phone etiquette - Despite knowing in advance what food was ordered it took a while for the food to be served even though the café was empty - The only employee was unaware of the loyalty program or how to process vouchers (They were still honoured however the encounter was embarrassing for everyone involved.)

We came for afternoon tea for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely time. I had the standard afternoon tea and my husband had the Gents afternoon tea. Both were full of lovely freshly made food and tasted delicious. The tearoom is decorated lovely and the service was swift. We have recommended to our friends and family.

Visited with my mum for afternoon tea pre a trip to the theatre. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table which was all ready and waiting. The waitress decked in her vintage attire took our order of tea or coffee along with cake choice and promptly returned with a large teapot! Great little place for afternoon tea. Not overly priced. This place has the tea room vibes. The smell was lovely of the fresh baking from the kitchen. I would definitely go back!!

The child's afternoon tea is delightful. My granddaughter and I have been twice and are going to be making another visit in the next school holidays...she loves it. Its a social history lesson as well as delicious food!
